Volunteers Needed

The Good Shepherd Alliance, Inc. (GSA) is a non-profit 501(c) 3 in immediate need of volunteers to help maintain our homeless shelter facilities and work with people in crisis.

We need painters, electricians, plumbers, car mechanics, and landscapers to restore living spaces, vehicles and outdoor areas.

We need physicians, dentists, lawyers, and crisis counselors to support children, mothers, grandparents, and parolees, among others.

We need computer technicians and volunteers of all ages to help in our thrift store located at the Regal Center in Sterling. We need to sort, price, hang clothing and assemble used computer equipment. We need strong men to move furniture every Monday through Saturday.

The Alliance is in need of food and household items. Meats, fruits and soap powder, etc. are needed to support the seven shelters. Donations can be dropped off at the Good Shepherd Thrift Store @ the Regal Center, 20921 Davenport Drive, Suite 113, Sterling.

For additional information, please contact Joyce Trickett, GSA Board Chairman or send an email to volunteers@loudounhomeless.org

"We beseech your volunteer time so that together we can continue to fund and supply an unconditional love to the homeless of Loudoun County."
