The Good Shepherd Alliance, Inc. (GSA) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization in immediate need of volunteer support to help maintain our homeless shelters. The below listed positions are critical but do not reflect all positions needed to support this mission.
Transportation– We need individuals able to make pickups of donated food items and deliver to our facilities.
Substitute Monitor Program– We need individuals willing to serve as monitors during vacations. This program does require special training through GSA.
Professionals – We need physicians, dentists, lawyers and crisis counselors to help support the children, women, and families at our facilities.
Technicians - We need painters, electricians, plumbers, carpenters, car mechanics, and landscapers to restore living spaces, vehicles and outdoor areas.
Technical Writers - We need people experienced with writing and developing grants, publications, brochures.
Administrative Support - We need administrative support people capable of typing, organizing paperwork, and answering telephones in Shelter Offices.
Thrift Store Support Staff - We need people to help with all aspects of the running of this very important area. Store Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 11AM-7PM.
