Thrift Store Donation Guidelines

Please remember these guidelines when giving:


- IRS guidelines state item must be in new or like new condition.


-measurement specific items such as shutters,custom made draperies etc are hard to sell because no one will have your measurements.


-items must be clean and dry


-please abide by the signs outside of store. If we become overwhelmed with one type of item we may stop accepting that item for a short time. Please understand our storage limitations.


Please call before donating large items, such as furniture, so we can direct which store may have room.

Clothing and Accessories

Household

All seasons: Men’s, Women’s,  Children’s & Infant’s. This includes wedding gowns, formal and evening wear.

Handbags, Jewelry, Shoes/boots, ties belts

NOTE – Please bag these items separate from any other donations.

Dirty, soiled, broken, rusty, mildewed, moldy items

Anything wet

Alcohol and alcoholic beverages

Any hazardous materials- includes paints, cleaning fluids, fuels, propane tanks.

Auto parts like batteries and tires.

Large appliances – call we may need in one of our shelters.

Weapons of any sort – this includes knifes, ammunition, guns.

Anything containing fuels

Large metal office desks
